Dr. Hitchmoth provided care for veterans for 22 years before opening her practice in New London. She is a contracted VA community care provider and prioritizes veteran care.

She is also an expert special examiner for the Veterans Benefits Administration and Department of Defense with over 30 years of experience. She examines veterans for disabilities and military service members preparing for deployment and transition.
